  • Bead stringing: large, medium, small or tiny beads- depends on age and skill level.
  • Wood polishing: non-toxic wood polish (beeswax, olive oil, vinegar mixture or at school we use the brand Wood Care Polish
  • Arts & Craft: Seasons- dip q-tips or finger into paint and press on canvas or paper. Children need assistance to make this project successful. Children tend to begin by making dots, then go crazy and smudge and rip the paper- avoid it, wrong info.

  • Toileting break and wash hands
  • Food prep: biscuits and/or juicing orange-clean, slice orange in half, use manual (hand) juicer twist or press (however yours works). Pour juice into decanter and add water. Lemon/lime can be used too
  • Set the table for a snack (placemats, dishes, utensils, glasses, napkins)
  • Light a candle
  • Sing a song and child snuffs the candle flame or blows it out
  • Enjoy your meal, reflect/talk about your morning/week!
  • Toileting break and wash hands

  • Wash the Windows: using a small spray bottle containing vinegar water solution or non-toxic solution, spray windows, scrub, and dry with a squeegee or crumbled newspaper.
  • Arts & Craft: gather lentils, beans, and pasta. Parents, cut out some shapes or draw a picture (i.e. leaf, flower, sun). Your child glues the lentils, beans, and pasta on to the shape.

  • Indoor plants: Water, dust, wash
  • Garden outside
  • Pick some flowers for a flower arrangement
  • “Garden Song” by Peter, Paul, & Mary
  • Easel and/or watercolor paintings
  • Paper tearing and glue collage (tissue paper, wrapping paper, magazines, circulars, etc.)
  • Collage can be placed on top of dry paintings
  • Wash your hands (can turn into sensorial work- switch out scented soaps or soaps that make serious bubbles or colored soaps)
